Help... do i need a junior bm dress? the girl will be 13 yo then and is currently 5'0

does she need a juniors dress or can she wear a regular size dress? she is currently 5'0 and its a little less than a year to the date...

My Jr. Bridesmaid was 12 1/2 and as tall as me (5'2'). I just had her wear the same dress as the other girls, she would have looked silly in a little girl dress. If she can pull off the regular dress, I would say go for it.

You can probably do the regular dress in the smallest size. Or email the designer and find out the length for the juniors version. But I think you would be fine with the regular.

My niece will be 13 when I get married and she is about 5 feet too and she is wearing the same dress as the BMs.

I think it would be ok to put her in it - by 13 most girls want to feel like adults - the only thing is I think it depends on the style of the dress - is it strapless?

Be careful if you decide to go with a jurnior bm dress. I almost ordered one for mine who is 12 until I checked the length measurements. My jr bm is almost 5 feet, but is very petite. her waist and bust measurements would put her in a junior size 8 but according to the measurements the skirt would be up to her shins and the top would probably show her belly. I ended up just ordering her the smallest regular bm dress and we are going to alter the helll out of it.

My youngest BM was 11 and stood at 5'. I ordered her a regular BM dress.

If you can, have her try on the BM dress. Everybody told me this dress was too 'mature' for her:

My two junior bridesmaids are wearing the regular bridesmaid dresses. One will be 13 and one will be 10.

When I was 13 I was in a wedding, and I wore a regular BM dress... she should be fine, and then she can match..

My SIL was 13 and that height. She wore what the rest of the girls wore. Naturally it wasen't black and it wasen't strapless (which personally I feel is too much older for such a young girl especially since my SIL is developed but not enough for strapless... well neither was my moh.. lol
