HELP!!! engagement party...

I need to find a reasonably priced place for an engagement party in sept for like 60 or so people. any suggestions?

i had mine at domenicos in levittown, it was around 60 people. the price per person was good for the amount of food you got. and it was really good too!

My family has a ton of parties at Filomenas in Franklin Square. The price is good and you get a lot.

Something you can also look at are the prices for a day time engagement party, instead of night! Usually a location will have a different menu for a daytime vs. night party

We had ours under a 20x30 white tent in the backyard, linens and all....a lot of work but worth it!

we are having our in a VFW hall in lynnbrook. i think its gonna be for about 100 people and we're getting catered food. its actually a nice place... check it out!

We have a lot of parties there too the food is soo good and they give you so much!!!

I am having my e-party at Villa Umberto's in Elmont they are very reasonable also!!

Ooooh, the Amity Civic Assn. is AWESOME. We did my sister's shower there- its on the water, huge and you bring in your own food! Fabulous...

thank you guys so much. I want a backyard party but my yard isnt big enough, and my parents are a little tight with finances right now. Thanks SO much for these ideas. Im going to start calling around tomorrow :)

Ours is this Saturday (yay!!) with 65 people and we're having it at Villa Russo in Queens. It came out to like $31 a person with 3 course meal, open bar and cake included.
