I could not be more frustrated if I tried.... or if I started thinking abt my hair style again.... I went to the city today to try and find fabric for my BM dresses and out of all the damn stores I went to in the garment district not one of them had the fabric I was looking for in the color I wanted. I went to the city cuz I knew I could get it there cheaper, but being that no one had what I wanted, does anyone know of any reasonably priced fabric stores on LI? Nothing too crazy far out East - I live in Bayside so I dont wanna have to go somewhere ending in 'ogue' hehehehe Thanks girls!

Hi, There is a fabric store in glen cove, long island. I am not sure of the name of the store, but it is in the same shopping center as a store called Babi nails.... good luck Lisa

Why don't you go to the Fabric mill I'm not sure if there is one in Nassau the only one I know of in in Route 110 in Melville but they have the most amazing fabrics. Also if you go to Astoria in queens there are tons of discount fabric stores. Good luck...

I am not an 05er, but I can help. I needed to buy fabric for these sofas I am having made and I needed it for my wedding programs. Try Calico Corner in Carle Place on Glen Cove Rd or there is also a fabric store on Voice Rd off of Glen Cove Rd in Carle Place.

ABC Carpet and Home has great fabric. It's near Union Square in NYC....Did you try Fabric Bonanza on the LIE service road in Douglaston?

Fabric Mill moved last month. It is now on the service road of the expressway right by Ski Stop. I think it's in Plainview.

Thanks deb, Jonsgirl and I are actually close friends from before LIW, and I sent her to all the places in the city, and she couldn't find the color...I told her maybe you girls would know....I just don't want her paying an arm and a leg per yard, and most of the LI stores charge at least double what I was paying in the city.....

D'OH! I am talking about the Fabric Mill here...
They did move, it's right around the corner from my office. Exit 48 off the LIE, you can't miss it!
