Help: Father and Daughter Songs: What did you use? What are you going to use?
Need some help on this. Right now I'm leaning towards Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carsile.....
ETA: If you choose a slow song, did you and your father practice dancing beforehand. I'm really scared my dad and I will look like to two statues!

DW used Wind Beneath My Wings by gerald levart and sombody else... adds a touch of RnB/Soul into a classic song...

I had my father choose the song. Since he couldn't chose just one we had 'Daddy's Little Girl' and 'Times of Your Life.'
The DJ did a nice blend of the two songs where no one was able to tell he switched the songs

i am using 'In My Life' by the Beatles...I love 'Butterfly Kisses' but it will make me cry!!!!

We danced to 'Butterfly Kisses' and we both cried the entire dance!
ETA: When I watch my video, I still cry every time! Even still, I wouldn't have changed it for the world. I have a special relationship with my daddy and the words of the song are perfect!

Try to think of something that is significant to you and your dad. We will be dancing to 'Lady in Red' cause at my sweet sixteen he dedicated that song to his little girl cause i was in red. even though i'll be in white this time around, its a precious song and has a lot of meaning to us both.

Dad and I danced to 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Grobin. DH and his mom danced to 'You've Got a Friend' by James Taylor, which could also be used for father/daughter.
