Ladies I need your help. I went to order fg dress last weekend. I knew the one I wanted just had to order it. The sales girl who helped when we ordered bm dresses assured me quick delivery and that it was available in all shades... well i went to order it and she was WRONG!!
the dress is only available in GOLD and I need Eggplant/plum. I am freaking out. went to tons of stores after that and every dress that i like is unavailable in the correct shade. I had bm swatches and the colors were way too different. I am using Bill Levkoff EuroEggplant. If anyone knows where I can get a fg dress with that color sash please let me know.
please let me know where you got your dresses and maybe i'll have a place to start again!!

Did you try the Attias Flea Market? They have sooo many dresses with all different styles and colors and are VERY affordable!

there is a place on Jericho Tpk. in Mineola that makes custom FG dresses. I dont think that they are too pricey. They are right across from the Sheridan Lanes Bowling Alley. GOOD LUCK!

try: butterflyxc.com - they have every dress imagineable at an amazing price - if you don't see smething - ask them and they'll get it for you.

thanks ladies...i really appreciate your feedback. i'm sort of freaking out because we only have 15 weeks...some places are saying delivery takes 16-20

Just a thought but maybe you could always order extra fabric in the Bill Levkoff eggplant and get the seamstress to make a sash for a dress

we ordered a dress from david's bridal that came in in about 3 weeks. my FMIL is making the sash with material that i ordered from the designer so the color matches perfectly. If you don't have time to order fabric, perhaps if any of the girls need a hem on the dress you can use that to make a sash?

This was my thoughts...If it's going to just be the sash you need that color, you could order some extra fabric in that color and get a sash made

im using phyllis at bridal elegance (gownfind.com) and what im doing is getting the dress in the shade i need...than for 15$ shes getting me the exact material to match my girls dress and going to add the sash!
