Help Fh 's b-day ( need opions, please) kind of long sorry

Ok tommorow is FH's birthday,

6 weeks ago I sent out invitations(it's a surprize party)

I ordered the little bottles of grey goose for a favor and I ordered 120 shot glasses 4per person. When I ordered them (from a dollar store) they were 4 for a $1, now they are in and they want to charge me $1.00each

What do I do :

1. just buy 1 and pair it w/ the grey goose(which I spent $4.39per bottle)

2.but 2

3. Forget the shot glasses and make poker chip cookies in the denomiation of $25(he's turning 25
i'm going w/ a poker theme

I appreciate any other suggestions too.

If they are in a mall, you can threaten to notify the mall manager (this person has a LOT of authority over the store owners)

If they are independently owned, I'd threaten to call the BBB and file a complaint.

But, honestly, I would NOT give them a PENNY unless they honored the original price quote.

They are independently owned and the owner was really nasty he told me I couldn't prove it b/c I didn't have it in writing, Ugghh I was so stupid.

The party is tommorow I have to have it set before 5:00, I work til 10 tonight, I was going to wrap them up here after things quiet down ( I manage a restaurant, & I'm having the party here).

I am so pissed, party city has plasic ones w/ suits on them(diamonds hearts etc.) they'r plastic and they charge $5 something for 4

the cookies would be the least expensive but I'll be up all night baking and I'd have to bake them somwhere else, (we live together)

do you think that's chessy? I 'm so It's not enough that 'FH is dissapointed we can't go to the bar w/ his friends to watch the Yankee Game, we have to have dinner w/ his parents first' he's gonna be surprized

I'm not happy to say the least

*update* I went to another 99cent store, and they had them for 2/$1 and the bags to put them in were 3/$1(the bad store had them 2$1,

I hope they know that they lost a customer Iwonder if LIW will remove this thread if I share their name & location?
