I just got engaged this weekend, and we are planning a March 2011 wedding. My fiance' and I are both very much into antiques so we are trying to find a venue that will reflect that, and having a hard time. HELP!!!

Take a look at The Riviera of Massapequa. It has that feeling: dark wood, comfortable, personal, old world charm, etc. Pricing is great. People are very nice. Food was yummmmmyyyyy (just went for a tasting yesterday) Call, ask for Vicky - tell her the 'New Mashed Potato Bar Girl' recommended you take a look :)

Maybe a hall that is a historic landmark???
How big is your wedding? I know Jedediah Hawkins is a beautiful restored mansion (for small weddings), also The Vanderbilt (for large weddings). Or maybe George Washington Manor or Milleridge Inn. I think these places have a lot of history and charm for people interested in antiques.

Re: Help finding venue
There's a museum on LI that hosts weddings and it has a gorgeous sculpture garden. I can't think of the name of it, but it sounds like something that might go along with it. I'll look for the name, but try googling museums on LI!
