I have two flower girls (my fH nieces). One is 10 years old (and size 14) and the other one is 8 years old (and size 7-8). We are having problems finding a dress that fits both of them. Anything fits the 8 year old, but we are having problems with dresses for the 10 year old (she has a little bit of a belly ---which is a troublesome area for her and she is a little conscious about it). I really could care less, but her mother is concerned (which I totally understand). Dresses are just not fitting her correctly. We are looking for simple ivory dresses with minimum to no beading. We went to David's Bridal today, but could not find anything Any ideas where else I could go?
Thank you for your help

Re: Where to buy flower girl dresses?
These are from Nordstroms..if her mother is worried about her tummy, the second one has a sash that would probably help hide the tummy.

Re: HELP---Flower girl dresses
I had the same problems with my daughters .The oldest has a little belly and the little one fits in anything so I had no choice but to get them different dresses I went everywhere Including the flea market didnt find anything so I ordered a larger size stretchy dress off of ebay and had to get it hemmed heres a pic of them they are the ones in purple . Good luck!!
JC Penny has some simple dresses in plus sizes (however as the ones i posted above they are white not ivory- sorry!)
Unforunatly, those are only plus sizes. However, maybe you can find something similiar for the younger girl? Good luck!! I hope you are able to find something!

Re: HELP---Flower girl dresses
with older girls i would try to stick with something ankle or floor length.. i had my youngest (2yrs old) in tea length, but my older girls (6&7 years) wore dresses to the floor...just more flattering on a taller frame(jmo!). If she's a little self concious of her belly u can always go for an empire waist...they look pretty & she'll FEEL pretty too Honestly i googled like crazy & that's how i found my FG dresses...i found 'em online, and then called bridal shops to see if they carried the line.
Heres the website I got my daughters dresses from and they were awesome and the dresses were beautiful and they have both sizes click here

Re: HELP---Flower girl dresses
David's Bridal had a ton of FG Dresses all different sizes. My FG's were 4 and 8 and they wore the same dress, it was beautiful! Check my album!

Re: HELP---Flower girl dresses
maybe make the 10 year old a jr. bridesmaid b/c its a little old to be a flowergirl, IMHO.
There is a website: http://www.woodensoldier.com/ that have matching sets for all ages.

Re: HELP---Flower girl dresses
Because the older one is bigger than the younger one, it sounds like she might even look quite older than the younger one, even though they're only 2 years apart. Either way, I think you could get away with doing 2 different dresses for them considering there's a significant difference in their sizes.

Nordstroms. These are what my girls are wearing. They are $110 and come in both the sizes that you requested. I think this style would be good for you.
