HELP!! Flowers by Brian vs. *********** vs. Pedestals

LIW is an awesome site, and you girls are amazing at helping- so I need your help now!!

I think I'm going through florist overload at this point. I have been to 5 different places, and felt differently about each one.

Out of these 3, which should I choose? I have tried researching each of them, so I'd LOVE to hear your feedback!

If you have NEGATIVE feedback about ANY of these places please let me know what it is about!!!!

i only met with flowers by brian and pedestals. i loved pedestals, they were my 2nd choice.

Hrm, I am getting VERY mixed results on Pedestals. I've read quite a bit of awful comments about dead flowers and such... :-/

Which is why I'm here, to see what you all have to say about these vendors.

One of the florist's name is blocked. If it is J@ck and R0SE then their name is blocked as per an agreement LIWeddings has with their attorney.

I don't know much about them but I would keep that in mind.

I have seen a lot of negative feedback on J & R as well.

What were the deciding factors in choosing these three as your top choices? Have you checked out Flower Michele, Flower Barn, or Flowers by Gina? there is SO much good things about them on this site.

I met with Flowers by Brian and Pedestals.

Flowers by Brian was really nice. Their work was wonderful. But they were too pricey for us.

I didnt like Pedestals- I felt that they didnt care about what I wanted and were very pushy.

I used Pedestals and couldn't have been happier. They did exactly what I wanted, never had any problems and my flowers lasted for about three weeks past my wedding.

You are going to hear about the good and bad of any vendor - you have to meet with them and decide who is right for you to work with.

Oh thanks :)... They did a great job.. We had big glass windows on the ceiling so they had hanging candles on the CP too.. It looked AMAZING at night!

I just meet with both of them today . Its a hard choice as both quotes were not to far off.

i felt Pedestals pushed me to agree with there vision. They didn't really listen to what I wanted or they couldn't give me what I wanted and didn't want to tell me they wouldn't do it. I'm not sure....but I did not like it.

The biggest difference I saw from both places is how they arrange flowers. Pedestals was pushing a lot of different flower choices on me.... they like to arrange a lot of colors and flowers into one centerpiece. To me, everything on display at Flowers by Brian was more consistent. Instead of a lot of different colors and flowers they had 2-3 flowers/colors. It comes down to taste.
