My FH and my mom are at odds with the 3rd menu choice for the wedding. Im polling all of you to help us decide if it should be: Chicken Marsala OR Chicken Francaise???
This would help us out so much as this has become a serious competition in my house!

yea i agree there! Although I LOVE marsala! But sadly not everyone does
We had the same issue-we went with franchaise even though FH LOVES marsala because of the mushroom issue. We have people who wont eat fish and others who won't eat the filet so we had to stick to a mainstream chicken dish. I'd do the franchaise.

I vote for marsala.....
I'm a food renegade... I've stopped paying attention to what people dislike, becuase if you really adhere to it, there are no vegetables, fruit, or mushrooms in any dishes....

Depends on what your other two choices are. Are either of your other choices in a mushroom sauce? If not, then marsala might not be such a terrible choice. Although I never realized that so many people didn't like mushrooms. I had chicken francaise as my entree (because my beef had a mushroom sauce) and chicken marsala during cocktail hour so I could get both in.

I never realized that mushrooms would be the factor that could make or break marsala! I thought the taste of the sauces would be the deciding factor.....You ladies dont realize how much all of your input helps (even to just decide on the last menu item ).
The other two options are Roasted Prime Ribs of Beef (in an au jus sauce) and Grilled Salmon (w/ tomato basil salsa)....
