Help for one of my BM's - Need a 'non-typical' reception location!

Help for one of my BM's - Need a 'non-typical' reception location!

She doesn't want a typical reception hall. She loves the Snapper Inn, and would love to find something similar (maybe less expensive if necessary). I've never been there, so I have no idea of what else to compare it to. She's seen Sans Souci and the Milleridge (neither of which were for her). She'll have about 110 people, and would like an outdoor event (maybe water?). Right now, they're trying to see if they can pull it together for this September.

Do you ladies have any recommendations? I know she's not particular on the day - she's considering the Snapper Inn for a Sunday afternoon reception.

Thanks is advance!!!

Timber Point Country Club - I am having my reception there. It's very elegant, yet not a glitzy wedding hall. That is exactly why my FH & I picked it. We knew right away. And it's a Lessings hall they do fabulous weddings.

Us too! It was beautiful, and on the water. More private driving up than Snapper Inn.

Tall Grass Country Club (lessings) We also did not want the typical wedding hall...it's just not us. We fell in Love with Tall Grass.

I hold a special place for the Snapper Inn... it's where we ate the night we got engaged

I think that would be a great place to hold a wedding!

If she has a relative in the military, tell her to check out the Melville Hall at the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. Right on the water, one wedding at a time, use of the whole hall, very pretty water view from the long windows and great food. All for around $100 a person! 100 person minimum.

The Dune Deck/Patagonia West. I am having my wedding there this June. I also wanted a unique type event. It is a hotel with a 5 star restaurant inside. We are having oth the ceremony and the reception outside. The ceremony is on teh beach on the ocean and the reception is on the deck overlooking the ocean. There is an inside just incase. Food totally amazing, hotel a little difficult to deal with in the winter(they are closed in the winter). The hotel is owned by one person, restaurant owned by another.

My brother got married at the snapper inn (on the deck, not in the building on the site) and it was WONDERFUL!
And not very expensive!

I'm having my reception at the Snapper Inn on a Sunday in September from 12pm to 3pm. Instead of a 'dinner' we are doing a breakfast/brunch. The price we got is VERY reasonable. I don't know what they charge for their regular wedding menu.

ETA: We also considered The Three Village Inn and Chateau La Mer.
