I would definetly see another Dr. - didn't they offer to do any tests? Endoscopy?
Years ago I had this problem or something similar. But it turned out I had reflux - and esophagits. So I would try another Dr.
Good Luck!

Any chance you are hypoglycemic.... does the nausea pass once you have eaten something? I get it a little bit in the am but never thought about it much to see a doc about it.

Do you take birth control pills? If so, do you take them late at night?

The reason I ask is that I am going through the same thing right now. I switched pills and I have a bad habit of taking them at midnight so when I wake up, I am naseus. Another theory I have is that I am hypoglycemic. As soon as I eat something, I am fine- so it could be either. After my wedding, I am goign to have a physical and get it checked out. You should do the same!

Nope, not on the pill. They are going to try some new medicine, will pick it up tonight and hope it does the trick. They think it is acid related, so hopefully I will get better. I am just so tired after being sick. It is hard. So far they haven't said anything about tests, had a blood test so far. They want to see if the medicine works, if not than on to testing....

Being a doctor, there could be a number of factors that can be related to your naseau. Does it occur only in the morning? Does it occur after you have eaten? is your bowel movements okay? If it is stemming from your gastrointestinal tract, you might have GERD. gastroesophageal reflux disease. Basically after you have eaten a meal, you wouuld have sever heartbearn. Pain, located near your heart, shoulder, hurts when you bend, sour taste coming up to your mouth. There is a opening at the end of your esophageal tract, that when eating foods, especially ones with a high acidic content, the acid leaks out and causes heartburn. OTC meds often do the trick, but for some presciption meds such as Zantac, Prilosec, etc helps. Strict diet such as, avoiding caffenine, onions, spices, raw vege, acidic fruits, etc.
Sometimes people with low bloodpressure will often feel dizzy and naseau especially in the morning because of that they did not have a meal for atleast 12 hours.
Start with a gastro specialist, he/she will likely perform a endoscopy to rule out GERD, IBS, etc. Then have your internist perform a CBT(complete blood test-specifically checking for iron, calcium levels.
Feel better

Ok, I'm not in the medical field, but I did have something similar happen to me (for years I might add.) I went to several doctors and they did every test under the sun, all of which came back negative. I had one doctor prescribe heartburn/reflux meds to me (which I knew wouldn't work bc it was naseau not acid reflux) and others tell me to just buy products to help me regulate my bowels (which also wasn't my problem.) I basically gave up on the doctors. (sorry, i know that's not what you wanted to hear...)

The thing that helped me is knowing that i wasn't alone. My friend's friend had the same thing happen to her. She wound up going to a psychologist bc no medical doctor could help her. Her psychologist told her it was anxiety. Go figure....

Well, if it consoles you any, I've been better for months (knock on wood...) Be cautious in what you eat, try to relax, and feel better!
