Watermill

I have never personally eaten there, but I have heard that the food is pretty good. I know a few people on the board have been married there. Why don't you do a search to see the comments.

Had my 9/14 Wedding there

They are now owned by the Scotto Family. You have nothing to worry about. Our wedding was wonderful, everyone raved about the food. The little I tasted was great (Chillian Sea Bass). I am still hearing about how perfect everything was! I give Watermill a big 10!

Watermill

I went to a wedding at the Watermill in April. I thought that the food was good. It was very elegant.

It is under different ownership

A few years ago the Watermill was a dump. The Scotto brothers purchased it, and completely rennovated the entire place. My stepmom loves going to receptions/events there because the food is so good. She is very picky so I believe her. Don't worry. The place is very nice and the food is very good.

Help!!! Hearing 'food sticks' comment about my hall

That each time at a catering hall is a different experience for different people. When I started my hall search, people would ask me where i was looking. For EVERY place I mentioned, there was always positive feedback and negative...I finally decided to not tell anyone where we were looking until we booked!! Different strokes for different folks - I''ve heard good things about the Watermill, if that makes you feel any better...try not to worry and ENJOY THE PLANNING!! :)

If you discuss your wedding with enough people (and you are already, no doubt) you will eventually find someone to say something bad about your place. My husband`s cousin told me (before we got married) that she has heard our place (Milleridge) called the 'Killeridge' because the food is terrible. Guess what? The food was great. Guess what else? In our wedding video, I see her at the cocktail hour sitting with a good sized plate of food in front of her. LOL!! If you have any genuine concerns about something specific, address them with your Banquet Manager, they will usually do all they can to put you at ease. Good luck ladies, don`t let anyone rain on your parade or stress you out.

Thank you to all your reassurance. Sorry this is so late. I was on vacation.
