Ladies I need some help. I still need to get hotel blocks for our wedding but I don't know where to get them...predominately for the fact that I would like a hotel that has a hotel bar open on sunday post our wedding (may 23, 2010).
any recs? our wedding is in old westbury so something relatively close would be fabulous....!!!!!!!!

our friends used the Huntington Hilton, it had a bar open late, and their wedding was on a sunday. Its not exactly close to Old Westbury though. The only hotel near Old Westbury that I think has a bar is the Garden City Hotel, which may be too pricey

The Roslyn Claremont isn't too far from De Seversky....but I'm not sure if they have a bar open late.

I went to see the Inn at Great Neck. I was in and out rather quickly b.c I mainly needed to see what the rooms looked like. But I saw a bar there and they said they offer them for after parties if needed. The rooms were very spacious too.
I don't think its close to westbury but since I have forgotten so much while i've been gone I thought i'd share just in case.

I'm having the same issue, mainly bc there aren't many hotels close by de Seversky. Try the Glen Cove Mansion or the Inn at Great Neck - they didn't work out for my date but maybe you will have better luck

I'm using the Garden City Hotel. They have a really nice bar and it stay open late

La Quinta has a bar..I know on Saturday it's open til 1 or 1:30..there rates are good and the bridal suite is huge
