Help! I am a shopaholic.

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a shopaholic. I can't stop shopping. I need to save money and stop buying stuff! Help!

Hi Lauren, My name is Beth and I am also a shopaholic

I signed a contract with my FH and posted it on my fridge saying that I wont shop anymore until spring- with a clause to buy a RD dress

then the saks catlog comes last night- and I fell in love with Marc Jacobs fur boots- Jake in a moment of weakness said yes I could have them-

I really need to stop - every month instead of saving money - I give it to Amex- b/c in my head it's ok to buy things if I know I have to pay in full

and that knowing I have to pay in full will keep me in check- but these plans don't work

I need a 12 step program- is there such a thing?
I actually get a high from buying things- but then I bring about 50% back b/c I feel guilty

do you think I have a problem?

I had a few dollars extra in my savings account, and decided to have a shopping spree at the mall, and spent all but $1.28.

I think it's easier to quit crack then to quit the mall!

My name is Brooke and I'm a shopaholic. I'm convinced this is a genetic disease as my mom does nothing but shop all day. I hate making weekend plans with friends far in advance, but I love to think about and plan my next shopping trip. I'm really excited we're going to Woodbury Commons this weekend. I buy myself 'presents' like coach bags and tell myself I deserve it. I can never have enough bags. I need help.

Brooke- I admire you for going to the outlets- but I fear that they are more dangerous- you get high from the low prices and therefore buy more

hi everyone. my name is missy. i am a shopaholic and have been since august, 1997 when i was issued my first credit card.

when i see a sale, i get pings of guilt if i do not purchase said items.

i convince myself that 15 pairs of black pants are simply not enough- 10 pairs of black stilettos need new updates and a 3 month old designer bag is old and worthless

when gift shopping, my motto is 'one for you and one for me'

i have 2 mortgages, a leased car and a wedding.
please help

me too- then someone will come over my house and open my walk in closet and freak- I guess I have more then normal

Its awful...I cant control myself..I dont know how I am going to justify this to fh when he gets out of work later...I am at the point where I am excited about christmas shopping because at least I get to shop. I dont care who im shopping for anymore
