It's changed when I look at it. You might have to 'refresh' your page.

Hmmm... thanks for asking!

Long story short...

the bride and groom looked amazing

they had us outside the regular room -- there were 3 tables with wooden folding chairs and heat lamps outside and we definitely didn't feel like we were really much of a part of it

the cake was terrible

the music was great

the location was gorgeous

I had more fun at the after party.

BUT, total strangers commented on how great I looked, which made me feel so superb!

Here's me in my dress:

They had you outside the main room? Ludicrous! Why would they overinvite? If the room didn't hold the capacity they should have cut the guest list and made it so that everyone invited would fit. WTH!

There were 3 tables in the outside tents and there were 2 heating torches out there. The bar (which had only wine and beer) was also out there. It was a little strange to be outside. We were standing by the doorway to watch anything going on in the main room, so we didn't even have our glasses during the toasts.

I was going to say that I think there were only about 50 people there because it seemed really small, but I just realized that we were at table 15 with 6-8 per table, so I guess it was more like 100 there. I heard there was a huge drop-off of people who didn't come -- I guess that was a good thing 'cause I don't think they could've fit a 4th table outside.

It was just annoying trying to beg for water from there.

Oh, my 'carrot' meal I chose before-hand (by initialing next to the picture of the carrot on the RSVP) ended up being stuffed green peppers with orange and black bean goo. DH had the cow, which was some sort of steak on mashed potatoes. The girl next to me (who is the one who sold the b&g their home) and I were trying to figure out why they didn't go with some sort of pasta dish for the veggies in the house...

They did have this very cute set-up they called a 'fauxto booth' where they had old time hats and boas and these picture frames you stuck your head in and a digital camera on a tripod to take pictures of it. I imagine those will be on facebook at some point.

The location was gorgeous and I think the families and all had a really great time.

That's really ridiculous. I've been seated at bad tables before but never OUTSIDE the main room. I can't even get over it!

Anyway, you did look wonderful, so there's that.
