HELP! I did a search on here and not much came up, has anyone heard of...

Ej the DJ? FH is doing side work for the owner of the company and the guy owns a bunch of other wedding related businesses. He told FH think barter when coming up with the price he was going to charge him. Well he is going to do the RH lighting, which is awesome, but he is suggesting that we use his DJ also, EJ the DJ. We already booked with LI Sound and left a deposit, which I don't think we can get back, but then again if we get a DJ for free its not a big deal. I just don't know if I'm comfortable with that since I haven't heard much about him and if the DJ sux the party sux! Help, what would you do?

hmm thata is a tough decision.. but your right , the DJ is the most importatnt part of the wedding.. you def want good entertainment!

maybe see if he has a website? or ask if you could go see him in action

I've heard of him. My MOH went to see him for her wedding, I went with her. I dont really remember anything about him though..... I can ask my MOH for you.

I too have heard of him... I think he's located in Suffolk somwhere and I believe he works out of his house. I'll see if I can find more info on him for you

someone on BHB said he did her communion. I mean I guess that's good, he's been in business for years. I did a BBB search and nothing bad came up. Saving all that $$ is so tempting, I just don't want to make the wrong decision! ahhhhh

I got his buisness number from my photographer.. he used him for his wedding in July and said he was awesome... they dont have a website

I actually booked with EJ the DJ this week. My RH strongly recommended them. I have not been to any weddings that they have done but they seem very professional and flexible, and willing to work with me and all of my crazy ideas. I do have to say that it is very hard to find info on them though. I thnk that they just recently expanded so that may be why.

This just in... heard from someone who used them for a bar mitzvah. Not the same thing, of course, but they were great.

hes been around forever...when i was bat mitzvah aged alot of my friends used him...im now 30 so i guess after 15 years hes still around he has to be good still...
