Okay, so I had my hair trial with William from Maximus today, and I love him, and I think he does amazing work. The problem is: my wedding is on a sunday, and he doesn't come in until 12. He told me he'd have me out by 1. So I'd be home by 1:15. The ceremony is at 3:30, I have to be there by 3:15. I would have my makeup done before hand. I know that is doing it *** backwards, but whatever. So at first I was like, okay it can be done. But now I'm wondering what if he's not there at exactly 12 blah blah blah. So I was thinking about calling tomorrow, offering to pay him more money to come in an hour earlier, or just book with somebody else from there and bring my pictures from today. It doesn't seem like that difficult of an up do. What would you do????

I don't think I would book someone that I would have to worry about. There are plently of great hairdressers. I would ask him if he could come in at 11:00. You're the bride.

I would go with someone else. You don't want the stress of rushing around and doing things backwards. Not for nothing....you're the one that needs to be convenienced...IT'S YOUR WEDDING DAY!!!!!

why dont you just try and get him to come to your house even if you have to give him a few extra bucks. if you love his work then its worth it and this way he can do your haor before he starts work and you dont have to worry. i think the more time you give yourself the better. you dont want to be rushed you will already be nervous.

I don't know what the cost is, but Maximus, in Westbury will come to your house on the day of your wedding.
I spoke to my hairdresser there (Brenda) and she said they could come to my house any time I needed them to. My wedding is 11:00, so it means getting hair done at 6 or 7.
They have a wedding coordinator there, but I'm not sure if one person is enough. I spoke to them about the whole bridal party and they were willing to do it.
