HELP!! i don't know where to start

Ok ladies, the two big details are all taken care of ...
Chuch - Check
Rehersal Hall - Check
ok well three things
Man o my dreams - check

Now i'm TOTALLY FREAKING out cause i have NO NO NO idea where to begin with a DJ/Band and a photographer!!!! more than anything the MUSIC.

i'd LOVE to have a band - but i get the impression that they're all for 100k weddings lolol.
I know i can just search through all of the reviews - but i'm not sure thats going to help. also, all of these showcases are in the middle of the week...i work in manhattan and live in brooklyn.

can ANYONE point me in any direction? even maybe like a 'top 3' DJs or anything :(

thanks ladies...you always rock when i'm having a 'freak out'

I'm using the band code blue and I love them. They were more than we wanted to pay but we are definitely not having a 100k wedding. This was the area we decided to splurge. They had a showcase tonight at the milleridge but they will be having another one on october 30th at westbury manor at 8pm if you want to check them out.

FH's cousin used a band called the Naked Truth. They play at bars occasionally, so maybe you can see them at one of their gigs. They were very good, played a little of everything. I also heard they were reasonably priced, but I don't know specifics.

I'm using a DJ....DanceJock to be exact. I really like them! I also met with Bravura, which was our 2nd choice. A little on the pricer side though, if you are looking for a lot of extras to your DJ.

Good luck!!

ET (entertainment tonite) is a great DJ company... they are good at keeping people on the dancefloor while accomodating several age groups flawlessly... just a random rec.
