help!! i have a rash.....

i think its an allergic reaction - i used to get these all the time when i was younger....i have no other symptoms....but its itching and its hard not to scratch it.....

i should also add that my skin is quikcly drying out from the weather changes betwen here and jamaica ( i haaven't been that good about mositurizing either!) so now my mind is playing all these tricks on me......and i would love to throw some unscented moisturizer on, so i don't have dry skinitch and ican figure out what the heck is going on with me...oh, and to make it even better- i am at work until 6 - all i want to do is go shower...i think my clothes are further irritating it right now too.....ergh

what do i do???

(my poor husband had all these nice plans for us for tonight too and now i wanna just curl up and sleep it off - if that would even work!)

Do you think you may have eczema? it sounds like you have all the same symptoms.

I would go to the drug store and get either Eucerin, or any kind of lotion that has cortizone.. there is actually a tube called CORTIZONE.. that will definatly help with the itching...

For now can you get a napkin or papertowel and wet it and place it on your skin to help stop the itching?

(DH has psoriasis, so i can sympathize with your pain, he always gets worse in the winter)

i love my hot showers.....but i hate this - and its startign to feel better - i have been drininkgn lots of water......maybe that helps??? (or the fact i know 6 o'clock is coming does...!)

FH gets the kind of rash you are descirbing when he wears his gloves at work...the docotr and the pharmacist at cvs say to use cortizone 2%..and tyake benadryl...it works wodners for him...hope this helps!
