HELP! I MIGHT NEED TO RETILE THE BATHROOM SHOWER!!!

Last week I noticed that 2 tiles in the shower on the wall felt soft and buckled in a little bit, needless to say, I called the plumber who told me there might be a leak or the sheet rock is rotted away underneath- the house is 30 years old- my mom and dad were the original owners- they are decesed now, so I cannot ask either one if there was sheetrock behind the wall. The contractor is coming tonite to take a look, he said it can be a simple problem or a big problem and I might need to retile the wall in the shower. But, I was thinking at least I can get what I want, does anyone know anything about those bath tub enclosures that you see advertised all over the place? I was told I can get one from home depot cheaper then getting from those outfits that advertise and cost thousands, and have the contractor come in and do it. Does anyone have this? Is there a website ? Thanks.

We had tiles fall off our shower. We had to replace the homosote behind the tiles and replace the tiles only 5' up. It was like $750 for three walls. Not too bad.

The tub surrounds can be a pain in the A$$ if you dont have someone who knows what hes doing do it.
