I need a makeup artist during the day on a Tues. I'm doing engagement shots at 3pm and need someone to finish my makeup before then. Does anyone know of makeup artists that will definitely work during the day? The one I was going to use only does evenings and weekends

You can always go to the makeup counter in the mall. You usually just have to buy $50 worth of stuff. I went to the MAC counter in the Sunrise Mall for my epics and they did a great job.

Try the MAC counter...they are all makeup artists. I would make an appt for a makeover. You usually have to buy $50 worth of makeup but it's still less than what you would pay for a freelance makeup artist.

No they don't do airbrush as far as I know, but MAC does make airbrush makeup so I guess I would ask. I had a great trial with Karen Wysoki (Art of Makeup) -vendor on here. She uses all MAC products and does airbrush. Give her a call/email and see if she is available during the day. She was willing to do my wedding party and I got married during the day so she will probably work with you.

My make up artist used to work for Mac and will travel to you if needed. She is usually avaiable during the day. Her name is Melinda Make-up & she is a vendor on LIW.

I took my epics during the week and used Oksana. She is a vendor on here. She is also doing my makeup for the wedding. You should email her and see if she is available. She is amazing!!! I loved how my makeup came out. I went to her studio in Queens....not sure if you had mentioned where you live.

Try Ann DeMarco at Madison Salon in woodbury--- she did my e-pics and if she is not there her assistant Valerie is wonderful!! (She did my e-pictures). And I'm almost positive they do makeup during the day.

Jennifer w/ MAC is awesome!!!! I am super particular about my makeup and she did an awesome job. I got complements the entire night of my brother's wedding!! She honestly did a phenomenal job and I plan to use her for my engagement party and wedding. She will come to you also- which is a huge plus. FM if you want more info or to see a pic of my makeup from the wedding.
