Help I need a Photographer ASAP

Hi everyone, I will be getting married in June of this year and I urgently need a photographer. I am in a bad position here. I thought we had a photographer but luckily I checked this site first and I saw some very important questions to ask. So I did and what i heard nearly made me have a heart-attack. I need a photographer who can work with my measely budget of $1000-$1300. If anyone knows of any affordable photographer who is willing to work along with my budget, please don't withhold. I have a similar problem and i'll behonest, i am having a lot of trouble finding someone to do it at a low price.

I think if you don't get an album (you just get the proofs and negatives) that there are a lot of photographers in your budget. You can always have an album made later when you have the money. I think Twelfth Night is one who does this.

Try Queens Bridal in Lindenhurst. I know they had great packages and they customize to exactly what you want.

Check out my budget vendor page - my budget was that low. I have about 7 photographers on there, as well as tons of other people. Also try Craig's list.

Try HiLite Studio 631 499 6338 Commack road, or 516 334 4455 Westbury. They are VERY reasonable and when we went there we saw some brides getting their proofs and we actually asked them if they were happy they were happy to tears. That was good for us. we are on a VERY tight budget, and feel confident in who we chose.

Carl Santoro Photography in Carle Place.

We met with him (I know him through the company I work for) and were very impressed with his work. I brought samples of the type of photos I'm looking for....traditional, candid, photojournalistic, color, b/w.... he does it all!

He's very affordable and just what we were looking for - we're not having albums made and all that (I'll make my own). He'll use digital photography and give us everything on CD.

I believe Patken doesn't require full payment until your proofs are ready. Try them.

Try DeJa Vu studios in Mineola , Near Jericho Terrace on Jericho Turnpike, they had a reasonably priced package for $1900, but that included more than just proofs negatives, so they may even be able to give you less to meet your budget....
