There are 11 weeks until my wedding and I still dont have a veil to go with my dress. If I go to a bridal salon, how long will it take for them to order/deliver? Also, are there any other places that I can go. I live ALL the way out east so I dont want to go too far into Nassau. Help! Thanks!

I got mine of Ebay. Two tier with crystals scattered throughout. It hits about where the lacing will end on my dress. $20 including shipping.

It's an indoor fleamarket in Levittown in Nassau, on Hempstead Tpke. Probably further than you wanted to go, but if you have time this weekend, you could go there and get one to take home with you. I think Barron's is a little pricey - sure, cheaper than the bridal stores, but there is a booth in the back of the fleamarket that has veils for $30, $50, some more but a lot of the simple, elbow-length ones are about $50. I almost got mine there. I did get a headpiece there that is really nice. It's a hike for you, but since there are a few different places to get a veil there, it is probably worth it for you. I am buying mine from this store on eBay- I tried one on in the bridal store and saw what I liked and they have a similar one- the bridal store one was $200- this one is $20
Thanks Ladies! I bought a veil from www.veilshop.com and I HATE it. I am now nervous about buying one online again. Maybe I will try to hit David's Bridal on Tuesday night after work and maybe one bridal salon. If I dont find anything, then next weekend, I will try Barrons. I dont like Stress!

I agree that David's can be expensive, but they have some on sale / clearance sometimes - definitely worth trying out first if it's closer to you.

I know you said Nassua is too far but I got my Veil at Barrons in Tri county.. THey did an amazing job and you may still have enough time to get one made.. THey do all custom orders so its easier than going to a Bridal salon that has them already premade!!! I picked mine to match my dress almost exact!!! HTH!
