Re: Help I need a wrap or shawl to go with this - NOW WITH PIC
Why not have your girls wear black shoes, and then you get a black wrap? Or silver shoes and a silver wrap. Then if you accessorize with silver jewelry it will all tie in.
That might be easier than matching colors.

It is hard to see the color in the picture since it is dark but my girls wore a wine/burgundy color and I bought them all sheer black wraps and they all wore black shoes asthe person above suggested. Edited to add - I bought them all at Macy's on sale for about $20!

You could also try Tri-County Flea Market. I ordered mine for $10 each!! They were sheer peach shawls, but they have a variety of colors!

I second tri county. There is a little chinese lady at one of the booths in the front. She can dye stuff to match. We brought her a swatch of my girls dresses and she matched the gloves perfectly. I don't remember if she had shawls, but she could probably get them for you!!

A black wrap sounds nice esp with black shoes - but try it in a softer fabric - maybe a chiffon?
Or, get the same color in a different fabric.
Pretty dress!

I'm looking for wraps too. My dresses are a little light maroon, the manufactuer calls it Cranbery. I am thinking of going with a light gray wrape, but black would be good with those, b/c they are dark.

Where in Tri County did you go? I looked yesterday, & I didn't really see much.

It was a booth, run by an Asian woman and an older employee with dirty blonde hair, near the entrance that sold mostly jewlery, but had shawls displayed on the walls and hanging off the sides. I don't remember the name of the booth, but I will look at my parents house for the receipt which contains the information.

This might be too late to suggest but you might want to try calling the bridal shop that you bought the dresses at. I just ordered shawls for my girls (part of my gift to them) by the same designer that makes my girl's dresses. I have Jim Hjelm but I am pretty sure most designers make shawls.

I agree with this, then if they want to wear the dress again they have the whole ensemble!
