HELP ... I need answers

got my wedding invitations but:
1. what do I send first, wedding invitations or bridal shower invitations (shower is in february, wedding in April)
2. For the wedding invitations, is it 8 weeks before the wedding date or the rsvp date?
3. Do I write thank you cards for both, bridal shower and wedding?

It is really hard and stressful! Where I come from weddings are totally different so this is NEW for me and my mom who is the biggest help i have. My bridal party is out of town mostly and I'm the first one of all my frieds to get married (i'm 22). But I can't complain, everything so far is almost ready but it gets more confusing

1. I would send the bridal shower invites first.
2. The invitations usually go out 8 weeks before the wedding. But you could send them our 10 weeks before also. I may send them out earlier than later, b/c I want time to deal with the slackers who don't send their RSVPs in on time
3. You should write a thank you for the bridal shower and a thank you for the wedding.

obviously shower invites come first....wedding invites should be mailed 6-8 weeks prior to wedding date.

And yes...you should write thank you's for both occasions separately

relax and tell the bms they have to help too that is what they are there for they can address and mail invited from whever they are

Hi ok don't worry - 1st our days are fairly close

Ok my girls have told me that they are sending my shower invites out by Jan 11th for my feb 28th shower

My wedding invites will be going out in the middle of February - for my April 24 wedding - our RSVP date I believe is March 24 - but can't remember exactly since my family actually ordered the invites that I picked out (I am in Michigan and so I couldn't be there when they were actually ordered)
