Anyone have any good ideas for a fun and inexpensive rehearsal dinner. We have about 30 people and are not looking to spend a lot of money!
TIA !

I agree with a BBQ - we did our 'rehearsal dinner' on the 4th of July; it was perfect!

ITA...BBQ it up!!
Burgers, franks and chicken are cheap when you buy them from Bj's or Costco and you can get a hero from a deli that comes with all of the sides!

Oh, totally would do a BBQ, but the rehearsal at the church is 7:00 at night, so the dinner will be at 8:00, and I'm BBQing that late at night.....
I was thinking Pizza Party (with all different pizzas and wine)??? Any Opinions on that...be honest please.

That's a good idea too! But I don't think it really matters if the BBQ'ing starts at 8pm. As long as you have some things for the people to pick on until the food is done. Either idea is a good one and the pizza one may be less of a hassle.

Since it's so late and people probably would have eaten before, why don't you do hors d'oveurs (sp) and beer/wine? Like a coctail party? Get the apps/hors d'oveurs at costco, go to the beer distrubuor and get some wine and you're done. I wanted to do this, but I think at this point FH's idea is the bigger the better, so we'll be having a sitdown dinner starting after the rehearsal at 8:30pm, ugh! Why do I ask his opinion?
