I am a lipstick dork. I need help. I need to find a lipstick that won't wear off in 2 seconds for the wedding (which is in 18 days!).
Everything I have tried lasts MAYBE 1/2 hour or so. Even the stuff they used on my makeup trials.
PLEASE help! I don't want to be naked lipped or redoing my lipstick every ten seconds. I prefer lipstick that is not super shiny. I also don't have the cash to buy lots of lipsticks and try them all.

Many companies make long lasting lipsticks now. I know that from Revlon and CoverGirl to MAC and Lancome make long lasting lipsticks, were you apply the color, let set for a few seconds, then apply the gloss and all you need to do is apply the gloss for the rest of the day.

Are you having your make-up done?? Ask the make up artist what she recommends. Esp so you can get the right color. The trick is to get lipliner, and completely color your lips, that keeps color even when the lipstick comes off.
I have not had good experiences with the 'long LAsting' lip sticks. They tend to dry out my lips, so while there is color my lips looked chapped.

TIP:
Apply powder to your lips when you are dusting your face before you apply the lipstick and it lasts longer

The best thing to do is the following:
Get a lip pencil a bit darker than the shade you like
Apply a lip stain over the pencil - Nars makes some great ones - just use a waxy pencil around the border of your lips to prevent the stain from 'bleeding'
the lip stain stays forever - trust me - i am obsessed with this stuff!!!
You may have to reapply the stain maybe one time - but it will last all night....
