I already went to Kleinfeld's, Macy's, Wedding Salon of Manhasset, David's Bridal, Bridal Reflections, and RK Bridal.
I prefer Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.
I'm so sad I still dont have a dress.

Helen's - I know it's in Suffolk in Commack, but their selection of wedding gowns were beautiful! And their service was phenomenal!

Don't be sad and don't get desperate. You still have time. I just placed the order for my dress 2 weeks ago and I'm getting married in March.
I have a q uestion before I respond. You indicated that you visited these salons. Is there a particular type of dress that you're looking for that may help us help you narrow the choices down?

I want a fitted mermaid/trumpet style dress.
I can't find the 'ONE' dress.

Have you tried Bloomies or Saks? Not sure what your budget is, but my friend just got married this past Saturday and her dress was from Saks. Both are in NYC.

i wanted the same thing! I found the most options at Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. I told them I wanted mermaid and they had like 7 dresses for me to try on. After the second one I stopped because I found 'the one' but I did have a difficult time finding a store with a lot of mermaid dresses.

I can't even find a picture of a dress I really like. I'm so frustrated.

Try Wedding Atelier on 5th Avenue.
I got my mermaid/fitted gown there and they have amazing stuff!
Have you tried on other styles besides a fitted mermaid/trumpet style dress?

Re: Help! I still don't have a dress.
I've tried on every dress style out there. I think the mermaid looks best on me. There is always something wrong with the dress I try on. It's either too simple or it has some cheap looking beading or some random sash I don't like.
This is stressing me out big time.
Why is everything so stressful when it comes to wedding planning?

Have you thought about talking to a seamstress and having a dress made?

Re: Help! I still don't have a dress.
Can you get your dress made??? Take the things you liked best of the dresses you tried on and make your very own creation???
I think there are a few brides that did that on this board.

Re: Help! I still don't have a dress.
Try Valentina's on New Utrecht Avenue at around 76th Street in Brooklyn. Also Doris on 18th avenue around 68th Street, Lestan's on Ralph Avenue (Very big Place). Valentina's is very nice, my older DIL got her gown and all the bridesmaids in there. They have a lot of styles. I also know a girl who got her gown in Doris and also good. I got my gown for my 2nd wedding at Lestan's and my MOH and BM got their dresses there too. Hope these help. Good luck.

Is Leston's as big as Kleinfeld's?
I just called them. They are so far from Manhattan.

They are very big, but as big as Kleinfeld mm...I'm not sure. They also have everything you need for your wedding from the dress to shoes, headpieces, jewelry, MOB/GROOM gowns, bridesmaids, etc. It is also 2 floors like Kleinfeld. They are a very good one stop store. If you feel they are too far then try Valentina's first.
