It looks as though ill be moving in to our 'home' form my moms home...so what are some of the items ill need first & that are more important... (I have nothing now)
toaster oven pots and pans mixing bowls utensils...cooking and eating - rubber spatulas are a must...and many people forget about them can opener peeler tupperware cornerware (cassarole dish) baking goods - cookie sheets, at least 2 8x8 squares (round ones...9x13...loaf pans...pie plate...spring release pan... if you really want a complete set) measuring cuts
rugs? linens lamps towels bathroom accessories hangers? microwave? tablecloth napkins casual china/formal china casual glasses/crystal iron ironing board vaccuum
when you go - you will see other things that you want too - just trying to get the must haves
....thats what i want a List of the MUST HAVES... are there any brands you suggest??

I would stay away from registering for bedding and towels at fortunoffs.. they are VERY expensive for that.. (if you do then you might not get them,) go to BBB for that or even register at target or kohls for that stuff then youll be sure to get it!!
Make sure you register for your china at fortunoff.
I registered and recieved the lenox 'federal platinum' set. but there are soooo many to choose from.
dont forget your everyday dishes and your flatware.
Glasses and stemware is important too. I registered for Mikasa stemware because i like a smooth very plain glass and no other maker offered one at that time in fortunoff.

Did you guys find a house??? Thats great!
Both BBB & Fortunoffs will give you check off lists when you register and and you walk aroudn you will see things you want/need! Dont worry!
I think we found it we should know within the week

BBB returns for cash for up to 2 years after the wedding. This came in very handy since we didn't have a house!!! This way if you change your mind on colors or styles you are guaranteed to be able to switch everything. I found a lot of the stuff I got at Fortunoff (Dishes, Towels) were discontinued and then you are out of luck!
