HELP! I'm a BM next month and need hair & make-up

I'm a bridesmaid for a Sunday morning wedding. I assumed the bride would have arranged for hair and make up (not pay for but have someone come to the house), but she only arranged for MOH and MOB. I live in Manhattan and have to be ready and in Long Island (Fox Hollow) by 10:30am. Does anyone know where I can get my hair and make up done in LI or NYC so early on a Sunday morning with out going over $100 (without tip)?

Can you ask the bride if the person doing their hair and makeup can do you too?

Sorry, I know that's not much help, but try doing a search on the boards under hair and makeup...you'll come up with many names of people you can contact.

I agree if the woman is going to be there anyway why wouldn't she do someone else. It's more money for her! I'd ask!

Unfortunately the bride only contracted for one person - that leaves 5 BM's on their own. We talked about all meeting at my apt (since I'm the closest to LI) and have someone come to us - but only one girl is willing to do that. I don't think a hair and make up person will come that early on Sunday morning for 2 people. Do you? I've never had to do this before so I'm a bit clueless.

Can you ask her to see if her make-up girl can bring someone to do the rest of the bridal party or if the mae-up artist can suggest someone else or a salon???
