I thought I was coming down with a head cold and a sore throat on Thursday, then during the day on Friday, my body ached so much and my nose was runny one minute and stuffed up the next. I went home early to discover I had a 101.3 fever! My head hurt for the rest of the day - it was so congested and nothing over the counter seemed to work. I thought it was the flu yet 36 hours later I feel much better! I'm not yet at 100% but maybe at 75% (yesterday afternoon I was at 15%). Is there something going around similar to this? Should I be feeling better after 36 hours? I would hate to wake up tomorrow and feel like I did on Friday.

I am also sick, so there might be something going around. I started off with a sore throat on Thursday, it got a lot worse on Friday. Saturday I woke up feeling pretty good, but then by Saturday night I had a runny nose and I am very stuffed up. No fever for me, but I never really get fevers. I am planning on picking up some meds today to help clear this up.

Well, either this was the quickest case of the flu I ever experienced or this is the calm before the storm. My fever disappeared today, my color came back (I looked as pale as a ghost), and I have some energy to move around. Unfortunately, I've developed a cough but got some meds to take care of that. I guess I will continue to relax and get ready for the snow tomorrow!
