Help, I'm torn between Cassarino and Patken???

Any ideas or suggestions would be great. I never second guessed myself until this wedding planning business. I like both of them equally and wanted to hear good or bad experiences on the above photographers. THANKS!!!!!

i just posted this but i'll do it again , we booked patken (steve).
when we saw his work we thought it was amazing & soooo different!!! thats what i want----different!
patken (steve's) pictures differ by far from cassarino. they are two totally DIFFERENT photographers. you'll get many responses on this post i am sure. i say go to look at both and decide for yourself. everyone will have different views so go check them both out and good luck !!

I did meet both. Cass seemed traditional and posed yet very elegant and Patken seemd artistic and different. I liked both and will soon make a decsion but I value all of your feedback so I wanted more opinions Thanks

Curly, I used Cassarion and LOVED my pictures! I've posted before about them, but I was very happy with my photographer -- he took some really amazing shots and he was excellent to work with -- he was so pleasant and accommodating all day and night! I dealt with the Mineola office and had no problems at all. You have to decide what type of pics you want and take it from there! Good luck!

We booked with Patken. I just love their work. I don't know if I ever saw Cassarino's.

Curly,

I would check out past posts about both. I seem to remember reading a lot of positives about Patken and not as many about Cass.

But as we all know, it all really depends on your style, what you want and what you can afford.

Good luck!!!

CURLY
I am using cassarinos this august as i told you already :) I think the people in mineola are very nice to work with
especially their manager
who made you feel like they would do more and really care?? that is what someone from perfect wedding told me to think of when I was torn b/w pro line and cass, she said who gave you that warm, fuzzy feeling, I said cassarinos, sounds silly but when she asked me I didnt hesitate to pick them
good luck, let us know who you pick

We met with both-the studios seem very similar...similar packages, comparable pricing.

I think the important thing is to shop for a photographer, not just a studio. See if you can meet with the photog who would cover your wedding. You're going to spend a lot of time with this person-you really want to be sure that you 'click' with them. You'll want someone who you feel comfortable with and who understands how you'd like your wedding to be captured on film.

We ended up booking a photographer with Cassarino. We liked the fact that Cass photogs all go out with assistants. I also found them to be more flexible with their packages, pricing.

I know people who were very, very happy with photos that came from both of these studios.

Happy planning!

With Patken, thats one of the reason we are doing the Engagement picture session, they recommend meeting with your photographer to get to know him before your big day and during the shoot this can be a good way to decide if you like him (and the pictures)!
Good Luck and let us know
