Help in Hawaii

Hi Gals,

Greg and I are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and we were fortunate to get our tickets free through his dad's sky miles. Yippee!

So now, we are booking the hotels and I am clueless where to stay.

If you stayed in Maui, HOnolulu, Kaui ..Where did you stay? I'm not sure if we are better off getting our hotel via internet or going through a travel agent. I would guess that it be just the same to get it through the internet. And if you don't mind stating what your cost approximately per night if it was broken down for you. Thanks gals!

I am staying at the Hyatt in Maui and Kauai.
Our travel operator said both are georgeous but the one in Kauai is BREATHTAKING.
We are getting 1 free night at each for staying 3 days. We are staying total: 6 nights in Maui (paying for 4 I think) and 4 nights in Kauai (paying for 3).

ETA: we are staying 1 night in Oahu in Honolulu because we have to leave from there back to the mainland anyway. Plus we wanted to see the USS Arizona which is off Oahu. We aer staying at the Outrigger there - not the nicest or fanciest but for 1 night it won't kill us.

I just got back from Maui and Kauai on October 3 and they were both amazing!!! We stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui and the Hyatt in Kauai - I highly recommend them both! I LOVED Maui - we did 6 night sthere and 4 nights in Kauai which is enough. I can't rave about the Grand Wailea enough - check the web site at www.grandwailea.com and you will see why - it has an amazing pool complex (river pools, swim up bars, etc) and the #1 spa in the world - amazing! I will post pics once i finish scanning. The Hyatt was awesome as well, a lot of girls here have been there and raved as well. I never wanted to leave!!! Any questions, feel free to ask!
