Am I the only one who got 'Perspective on Marriage' book. My priest was like this book isnt good, so i am waiting fo rthe other one to come to my church - which I am guessing is the one you guys have.

Anwyay to answer your question I am using: Ephesians 5-2; 21-33.

I love the corinthian one but my aunt and sister bit my head off and said everyone uses that one.

Do you know of anyone who chose a reading that didn't come from the book???
Our priest said we can pick other selections that may not be in 'Together for Life' but they needed to be from the Old Testament for the first reading, and be from the book of letters in the New Testament for the 2nd reading.
Do I have that right?

Yeah, I selected my readings from the bible if I didnt want to use what was suggested from the book.

Just make sure its Old, new testament.

Here's our run-down:
Seating of mothers: Jesu (?) of Joy by Bach
Bridal Party Procession: Canon in D by Bach
Bride: Bridal March
Traditional Recessional

1st reading from Old Testament (TBD)
Psalm: All I ask of you
2nd reading from New Testament-Letters (TBD)
Song: Celtic Alleleujah (sp?)
3rd reading from the Gospel (our priest will read)
Reflection Song: Irish Wedding song, Ave Maria, or ????

The reading from the Old Testament I think will be all right, but the one from the New Testament I'm having trouble deciding on. And for the reflection song FH likes Ave Maria but I'd like something different....

Can you help??

I have a different book from you girls from some odd reason so this is what I ahve so far:
Old Testament: Genesis 2:18-24

Gospel Acclamation: Allelujah
Gospel: Mark 10 6-9
Blessing of the rings: Amazing Grace or priest suggested Ave maria (I might do it for my entrance)
Psalm 103 (Celtic)
Unity Candle and Petitions for our deceased mothers

UNFORTUNALTLY YES! in the back of the book is a piece of paper, you have to fill it out.

this is the same order the ceremony will be (remind you if you are doing a mass)

its not that bad, do a few a day, its to what your liking is. i also had to chose songs not sure if you need to do that.
