For those that are already married.... or soon to be married. What are your thoughts on getting a videographer for your wedding. Was it worthwhile, do you watch it, do you regret it... Please share your thoughts. My FH and I are trying to decide if we should even bother. I want it and he doesn't.... we both understand each other's point of view.... but we just want to make sure its a worthwhile expense. Please share your thoughts.....
Thanks!!!

Re: Help!!!! Input on wedding videographer??
Originally DH and I did not want it. Everyone tried to convince us to get it, my brother even offered to pay for it. I was out to dinner with some girlfriends and one said, 'Nicolas watches our wedding video all the time, points to the screen and says Mommy, Daddy.' I was sold. This is something your children will enjoy watching and you can't give them this memory in pictures.

Re: Help!!!! Input on wedding videographer??
I initially didn't want a videographer, but DH did. In the end we got one and I am so glad we did!
It's amazing how much you miss and the video captured all these moments I truly didn't see. DH and his friends had a whole party to watch it!

We also originally didn't want one but we're so glad we did. It captured all the little details and people the photos didn't capture, and it's great to see our ceremony, first dance and even the funny best man toast.

if you want to cut the expense -have him only stay through the ceremony. That is what I did. That is most important.

I would definitely recommend getting one. It waas great to have the opportunity to sit and watch it after the stress of the day has gone by. My sister did not have one and she regrets it. Good luck!
