I am addressing the inside envelopes and for my family and close friends I am using the informal Aunt and Uncle and first names. I do not know what to do for dh family. Do I put Aunt and Uncle or the more formal Mr. and Mrs.? Since the invitation is actually from my parents ,would be weird to use the informal greeting?

Re: help inside envelope address question
For people I wasn't sure about, I just used the 'Mr. and Mrs.' I used that mostly for DH's family. I think if you're not sure, you're probably better off with the formal way.

To be honest with you I don't even think that you need address the inside envelopes, I didn't. You dont need to address them on the inside if you already did it on the outside.

I would use 'Mr. & Mrs.' if you aren't sure.. you can't go wrong that way! I used it for everyone - my family and his.

Re: help inside envelope address question
hate to go against the trend - but when i wrote out cards to Fh's aunt and uncle and i wrote 'sunt and uncle' - his aunt was so touched she almost cried. and now she signs everything aunt and uncle for me - so it's like we're one big family now.
