HELP, invitation addressing question!!!

We decided to go with an invitation that does not come with an inner envelope.

Now we are getting ready to adress and send them out. We want to make sure that parents now the kids are invited, should we put the chilrens names on the outer envelope??? There are only 4 families all relatives, but we want them to know the children are def. welcome! Should we just put the parents names and call them to make sure they now it is a kid friendly wedding??

HELP!!!

Thanks!

I think AND FAMILY would give the message- you can ask someone or you can call later to make sure the message went through

You could address the outer envelope as:
The Smith Family
7 Apple Street
New York, NY 10001

Or maybe you could write a little note on the response card? Calling is also a good idea if you don't mind doing it.

I had only one envelope- I put 'and family'.

I put 'Mr and Mrs John Smith and Family' or something like that

Thank you, thank you!!!

I like both 'The Smith Family' and 'Mr and Mrs Smith and Family'

I think that will get the message across. We want to see all our cousin's babies !

I had a similar situation and used 'Mr & Mrs. & Family'
