Help invitation etiquette

Help invitation etiquette

Okay so FH & I want to include our parent’s names in the invitation. We are very proud of the fact that we are paying for 100% of our wedding so we don’t want o use the phrase “along with their parents”, so when we met with a vendor she told us that you should not separate the Bride & Grooms name except for the “&” or “and” , she said it’s bad etiquette and it does not look good if we put our parents names in between. Tell me what you think, and please be honest if you think it does not look good I won’t be offended.

Any other suggestions are welcomed. TIA

Here is what we are thinking of doing:

Bride's Name
Daughter of MR & Mr.-----
&
Groom's Name
Son of MR. & Mrs ------
Request the honour of your presence at

Date
Location
Etc,….

Re: Help invitation etiquette

If that is how YOU and FH want the invites, then do it. Ettiquette is a guide.

You could also do:
Bride
&
Groom
children of
Bride's parents
Groom's parents

invite you.......

I agree! I would do 'children of' or 'son and daughter of' but your way is perfectly fine also.
