Help! Invitation question

I was thinking of mailing my invitations the end of Feb. I have an RSVP date of April 28. Wedding is May 31. Is the end of Feb too soon to mail them out?

I need help!

My wedding date is May 17th.

My reply date is April 8th.

I am mailing these out the 1st week in March.

Did you already send a save the date? If so, I think 3 months is a bit too early -- you don't want people to forget. But maybe thats just me -- the longer I have to do something (like RSVP), the less likely I am to do it on time! If you didn't send a save the date, I would say the end of February is perfect.

I mailed mine out 6 weeks before the reply date.

I mailed mine two months before the wedding with a response date of one month before the wedding. I had to have my headcount in a few weeks before the wedding so I needed all the time I could get for the gap between my response date and wedding date.
