HELP! Is anyone dancing with Mom AND Dad at reception?

I would like to do something special for my mom... is anyone here dancing with their mom at the reception? Is anyone dancing with both mom AND dad? Are you doing just one song... or 2 separate songs? I'm afraid of taking a lot of time away for special dances. Any ideas on what I could do instead? OR should I just dance with mom and dad and suck up the fact that it will take a couple of minutes more? My FH has a dance with his mom, too. So, that's three dances total! Any suggestions?

I'm dancing with my dad and my mom. My dad first, then my mom and then my FH will be dancing with his mother. They can shorten the songs if you want.

I am going to dedicate a song to my mom during dinner bc to dance would just be too much I have to dance with dad and step dad and FH has to dance with mom

Oooh.. that's good! I will ask my dj to work his magic. I would like to do 'Memories' (Elvis) with my mom. (my whole wedding's going to turn into an Elvis listening party! First dance, mom dance, last song! lol) Thank you!

do you have the lyrics to Memories by Elvis. My dad is a big Elvis fan and I haven't decided on a choice for our dance. That definitely sounds like a possibility.

I am dancing with my mom and my step dad. I am dancing with my mom to Somebody's Hero by Jamie O'Neal. It's all about a girl who is getting married and how her mom is her hero. It's kind of an upbeat country song.

I asked my DJ to throw it at a random time. He will make a dedication but I know my mom won't like the spotlight on her so I will just wander over to her and dance with her. I hope everyone else stays on the dancefloor.

Plus, if I have a 'mother/daughter' dance my MIL will probably freak out that I am stealing her thunder!!!!

I'll be dancing with my mom only.. doing a 'mommys' dance.. FH with his mom, me with mine...
I'll prolly dance with his dad later on...
My moms just alot more special to me then step dad... so i dont really feel the need to include him too much.. (and he doesnt mind at all)

I'll go find it now... actually, I should check it out myself before I decide if it's appropriate for mom/daughter or dad/daughter! My last song for the whole wedding will be 'The Wonder of You'... SUCH a GREAT last song! I was gonna do that with my mom, but Elvis sings 'one kiss from you and I'm a King'. Oh well! lol

I danced with both my mom and my dad. It didn't take a lot of time away at all. With my dad I danced to 'You Are So Beautiful to Me' and with my mom I danced to 'Wind Beneath My Wings'.

I danced to Daddy's Little Girl with Dad and then DH danced with his mom, then I surprised my mom and we danced to In My Daughter's Eyes and I cried like a little girl....my mom was very surprised and touched.
