Help! Is this invite wording ok?

Help! Is this invite wording ok?

Because you have shared in our lives
by your friendship and love, we
Bride's name
and
Groom's name
together with our parents
invite you to share
the beginning of our new life together
when we exchange marriage vows
Sunday, The Sixth of November, Two Thousand and five
at four thirty in the afternoon
Hall name
Hall street address
Hall city and state

Reception immediately following ceremony

-----------------------------------------
question #1: is the day, date and year right? is there another way to say it which looks better?

Question #2: since we will be getting married at the hall, I am not sure if I should say 'Reception immediately following ceremony' or if that just goes without saying.

Any feedback from you ladies would be greatly appreciated!

TY!

I was just advised on the BHB board that the year is written out in lower case.... so glad I asked!

I'm not sure but I think when your start time is half past, the 'proper ettiquette' is to write it as 'half past four o'clock.'

I did a google on 'wedding invitation wording' and got a ton of websites which all had the 'thirty' after the hour.

I thought it was strange too... but I'm going with the flow

I don't think it matters all that much either way, as long as the guests understand what time to be there!

All lower case and on a separate line...the date and year get separated so that it won't look too cluttered...see my actual invite on BHB.
HTH - ask away, that's what we're here for!
