In the past month I have been having these dreams about my ex. I was with him for over 3 years and we broke up in late 98 when he moved away. We were our first loves. We still talk and FH knows this and is ok with it.
My dreams are FAR from G rated. They are closer to X-rated. I feel so guilty that I am having these dreams. I am getting married in a few months to FH and I love him to pieces. I was just wondering if anyone had any input/advice about my dreams.

I've been having thoughts, in real life!!!
I think it's completely normal. I spoke to a couple of friends and they freaked out a little before they got married too, you know, thoughts about ex's.

I can't give you any insight into the interpretation of your dream, but usually with dreams they don't mean what you think. I do know that I've heard this ALOT from B2B's. I think it's pretty normal. Don't worry! I'm sure this has no reflection on your love or comittment to your FI!

The same thing is happening to me! I've been having real life thoughts (strictly G rated though) and dreams lately. It's terrible because it puts doubts in your mind that aren't really there, if that makes any sense. For me though, I knew it had to do with the way we ended things off last we spoke (not pretty) and I felt guilty about it. As of a week or so ago though, the dreams stopped. And from what I'm hearing, apparently these dreams and thoughts are quite normal for brides to be.

I am having the same dreams- not only about exes. I have also been with Eminem, Puff Daddy and three soap stars from General Hospital. Iam not worried and don't feel guilty about it. I heard it is normal and that many brides go through this..

Your story is like mine too! It is nice to hear this is somewhat normal. Wacky though.

I think its complely normal, you are about to make the biggest commitment of your life, to stay married through thick and thin, sickness and health, blah blah blah...its a BIG commitment, I think its only normal to think about ex's, a few months ago Fh and I had a fight, so I got online, was bored and started thinking of an ex that last I knew was working in the city, doing really well, anyhow,,I actually looked him up and found that he is working just a few doors down from FH...its crazy...what made me think of him? I dont know..do I want to even try and see him, hell no..I think maybe thinking of past loves, especially serious ones, is a safety for us, especially when we are making such a big commitent!! I think its also normal to think of 'what could have been' with past loves, but I 'm so happy about fh, I love this man more than I ever loved anyone...the ex's dont hold acandle...I like having sex dreams..it adds excitemnt to my already anxiety filled prewedding bliss!!!

I agree with eveyone else. When your going to commit to one person the rest of your life your having a life changing experience your head works things out in your sleep. Just relax. Those dreams dont mean anything, but your coming to terms with your future, a final fling so to speak!
