HELP - Japanese Lucky Cat - Where???

I urgently need help to find a Japanese Lucky Cat .. but don't know where to buy .. I remember seeing them in stores, but now that I need one, I can't find them anywhere .. anyone have any ideas .. I've called Pier 1 and several gift shops .. many people don't even know what I'm talking about .. so hopefully the image posts... but if not, it's a cat sitting up with his paw raised as if he's waving.

Do you need it ASAP? I found it online but you would have to have it shipped so if it's for Christmas it won't work. But anyway you can get one at

They look a tad different than the pic you posted.

Yeah, I'm a dummy .. didn't think they were going to be so hard to find .. so, now, of course, I am in a jam and needed it for tonight. But I can't find it anywhere .. I've even been calling Japanese restaurants to see where to get them, and even asked a guy if he'd be willing to sell his!

I just can't believe I can't find anywhere .. not Pier 1, not gift shops .. but I know I've seen them in stores .. maybe that was too long ago.

Where do you live? I'm running out to get something in a little while and there are a few stores that sell stuff like that I could look in for you, but I don't know if I'm too far away for it to be helpful.

isnt there one of those stores that sells a lot of asian/oriental themed stuff in The Source? Like bamboo, glassware, etc?

Thanks, everyone. I'm not familiar with The Source, so I don't know what stores are there. At this point, I think I have to just give up on the idea.

You would easily be able to find it in the city down in Chinatown or SoHo. ...... you could check some dollar stores... they carry different things like that.
