HELP!!! Jr. Bridesmaid Dresses

Johanna - Sorry, but I can`t offer much help, since I have the same dilemma! My Jr. BM`s will be 9 1/2 and 14 1/2 in October when I get married! My MOH's picked out a Watters & Watters dress that`s gorgeous..it`s also $200 w/o alterations! I know I can get a size 6 for the 14 1/2 year old, but what do I do about the 9 1/2 year old? If I order a size 2, it`ll be almost 6' too big in the chest and almost 7' too big in the hips...yikes!! Are alterations feasible?? Is $200 too much to spend on a Jr. BM dress?! If I think of a solution, I`ll let you know! Good luck to you!

HELP!!! Jr. Bridesmaid Dresses

I avoided having 8 bridesmaids, and went with 1 MOH, 1 flowergirl and two Jr. Bridesmaids, and it turns out there is no avoiding these headaches. Your situation is a tough one too, if i come up with something I will let you know. Where did you get your bridesmaids dresses, still haven't found my MOH's dress. I feel like I am running out of time, AHH!!!!!

HELP!!! Jr. Bridesmaid Dresses

I got my Jr. Bridesmaids dresses in the regular dress section of Estelles. Right off the rack, but they will order them if you have three or more and you don`t see the right sizes. Estelles is on Rt. 110 in Farmingdale. Just north of the train tracks, I think. They also have a decent selection at Lillettes in the Southgate (Stop and shop) shopping center in Massapequa Park (Merrick Rd across from the high school).

Johanna & Oct. Bride...

Johanna - We found the dress @ RK Bridal in Manhattan, plan to order it next week. Oct.bride - Did the salon order material directly from W & W? Do you know how much it runs per yard? Our 2 pc. dress is dupoini silk - style 5323 - did you get that same material? I was actually thinking of inquiring about the same thing w/ W & W. Sorry for all the questions!! Thanks!!

Johanna & Oct. Bride...

my dresses are merlot, iridescent chiffon...yes, the salon is ordering it right from w&w....i can't remember how much it is per yard, i want to say $23 a yard, but don't quote me on that....then the salon is charging me on top of that b/c they will make the dress for me....so thats why it got a little expensive (the dress will be about $250)....but i wanted her to match the other girls....so i'm paying for some if it b/c i felt bad asking her mom to pay that much...... good luck!
