HELP LADIES RE: BOK--FIXED- those that replied, please reread in its entirety- sooo sorry lolll
i am having 2 boks. 1 allll white and 1 all purple.. not sure which im walking down the aisle with.
for the white bok- its calla lillies and a few other white flowers(not sure what).. and with ostrich feathers to match my dress. the feathers will be wrapped under the flowers ,above the stem.
originally, i was going to wrap the white bo-k with satin ribbon and put a broch in the center.
but now im thinkging, i should wrap the bo-k with rhinestone trim that i bought the other day. bought a yard for this, way more than i need) or should i do an offwhite satin ribbon with a broch in the middle of the stem?
originally, thats what i was going to do.. and then wrap the purple bok with the rhinestones instead
BUT yesterday.. i bought these gorgeous purple and pink butterfly brochs for my bridesmaids... so im thinkging.. maybee.. i should get matching butterfly broch as my bms and have the bok wrapped with the same fabric as the bms(scraps from their dresses) .. instead of wrapping the purple one with rhinestones?
the girls bok-s are purple., same exact as my bok..just mine is bigger.. HELP!!!!!!!!!
Re: HELP LADIES RE: BOK--brb only copied half of what i wrote. got logged off.. ARGH!
what about doing the ivory fabric with the butterfly broach? This way it is still a little more different than your BM's

Wrap the stems, and use the brooch as an accent. You can maybe even place the brooch in the boq on its own by conecting it to a long stick covered in cloth. I wish I could draw it for you b/c that can be very pretty.

Well it depends which bouquet you're using. If you're using the purple, I would wrap it in either white satin or rhinestone. BUT if you're using the white I definitely incorporate the purple brooch into that which would make it stand out.

WHITE = RHINESTONE WRAPPING, BLING IT OUT NO BROACH
PURPLE = BROACH SATIN WRAPPING

my vote is for white bok- cover in rhinestones or just plain satin ribbon with broach. did I answer that correctly?

I would personally do -
WHITE BO-K for church........all rhinestone wrap, no broach no ribbon just BLING
PURPLE bo-k - wrap in satin (purple) with a broach or 2 attached to make it bigger and a bit different from the BM
