Help me be realistic about make-up

Help me be realistic about make-up

I am having the hardest with finding a make-up artist I am considering reasonable. I personally think paying $100+ for someone to put make-up on me is outrageous. But that is me. I do not wear make-up regularly so to me it's an expense I want to keep as low as possible. Are there make-up artists out there that are less than that? Or is this a lost case for me?

I found the lowest price for someone to come to your house is $100

IF you are going to a salon, the price can range from 55-75 dollars so its not that big of a jump .

When people come to your location there is a surcharge

If you go to a salon then it will come out for less...I know one place that does a good job and its $30 for regular make up and $60 for airbrush but you have to go to the salon, not sure exactly where you live though

I don't need airbrush, regular stuff is fine with me. My wedding is a Sunday though and salons are usually closed. I'll be getting ready in Nassau near Valley Stream area.

If you're not really that into makeup (which I'm not) a friend of mine suggested getting makeup done at MAC then you can buy what you want and they give you a sheet with what they did.

Would love to know the salon you are talking about. Not sure If I am having someone come to the house of not. My wedding isn't until 3:30 in the afternoon and I have more than enough time to go somewhere until the ceremony.

My Mary Kay rep will travel or you can go to her (She's in Garden City). She is great and the makeup is great. I use it everyday.

I was going to recommend going to a salon as well. If you go in now and tell them when your wedding is they might open the store for you to get your makeup done the day of the wedding. Are you having your bridal party get their makeup done as welll ? BC then they will def open up for you. I know a few places in Queens that have done that before.

That is definitely about right. Makeup is expensive especially wedding day makeup.

How do you like Lumara's. They are pretty resonable. Day of wedding 100 hair 100 makeup, (15 dollars extra for airbrush). $60 & 60 for the bridesmaids.

Trial $60 hair and $60 makeup.

Not too bad.
