Help me budget for DJ

Can anyone give me an estimate for the following

DJ/MC (not in your face..kind of low key)
Uplighting

Need them for the wedding

I have no idea how much DJs run with uplighting

Hey- our DJ is 1,000 dollars- came out to 900.00 with a coupon on his website. Then we got a montage- it cost 400.00 so the overall package came to be 1300.00

We used a company called higher energy with Ralph the owner. One of our friends used him and he was nice = down to earth- and he listens to what you have to say.

We just officially booked out DJ.......

We have one DJ, one MC, 4 lights that go to each side of the DJ booth (no idea what they are called), uplighting around the entire room (28 lights)

The uplighting itself was 1200
The DJ & MC was 1650 (or 1600, can't remember)
The lights that go along with the DJ was 600

$3450

ETA: We had to find a DJ that was used to playing for Greek and Italian Weddings.....we found cheaper but the companies that were cheaper didn't seem too familiar with the variety of music that we needed
