Today is my first day on the boards (though I've been peeking like an addict for weeks ) and I was hoping for some help with my next task--finding a florist.
If you could pick any of the following florists (all are reccomended by my hall) which would it be and why?

Snoogie, you can FM too. One thing I really like about Laurie is she answers her FMs and email in a timely manner. Meaning she is quick.
What I am noticing about myself, as I research vendors, is I really like when vendors respond to email or FM within a day or two. That is something that has become important to me in this process.
One of my vendors just does not like the computer and I really don't think this person wants anything to do with the Internet/Email. It's okay, because I learned as I book the rest of the vendors that will be something I take into consideration.
For me, if I am at work and I think of a question, I like being about to send an email or an FM and get an answer back in day. Sorry, I went off on a tangent ...

Sorry, I picked LA Blossom!!! Laurie is wonderful and she comes to your house with lots of photos and ideas. Not to mention, she is SOOOOOOOOOO nice!!!! I can't wait to see what my flowers will look like!!!
Oh...thanks Peabody...forgot to mention how prompt she is with answering emails!!! And she emails me ideas all the time, just out of the blue. She develops a close relationship with all her clients which means alot to me!

Welcome, They all have good reps on this board, however we went to Flowers Michelle Tuesday. You MUST check out John's work! Elegant and reasonably priced. Good Luck Let us know how it goes.

We're using Jack and Rose. Just remember each bride(groom) is going to promote there vendor. Research all your vendors and make the decision on your own. Some brides have good experiences as well as bad ones.

james cress does really nice work - i have seen them at shows - i went with someone a bit more local to me though.

I booked LABlossom too! Laurie is great, her prices are even better. I'm so excited to see how my flowers are going to come out. When I went looking for a florist I met with James Cress...He was very rude and said that my idea for yellow flowers with blue BM dresses would not look good. Instead he wanted me to go with purple flowers ( which i thought would get totally lost against the blue dresses). Not to mention that for the same price he gave me for flowers I got my flowers, center pieces and favors from Laurie @ LABlossom.
