Help me choose a BM dress!

What should I do?
pick Dress #1 which is elegant & I love --- BUT it's a similar style to my wedding dress.... But maybe that would look good?

OR
Dress #2 which is pretty & more fun

thats a hard one! I love Jim Hjelm dresses and I love alvina valenta. It depends on the shape of your party. The alvina gown, is a closer fit, which would mean fit bodies! the jim hjelm gown is more loose and it flows. So it really depends on the girls shape and what looks the best. Either way, they are both gorgeous gowns.

My girls are wearing Jim Hjelm.

I really like #1, but I may be biased...my BMs are wearing almost the exact same Alvina Valenta, but from the Spring 2006 line...

Thank you all for all your opinions. I am still confused since I like them both!
I guess I'll let my girls choose when we all go & try them on together!

I tryed on myself number 1 this past weekend when looking for a dress for my BM's and i have to say number one is just WOW. Its stunning! The only reason i didnt choose it as my BM dress it because it will not look good on everyone so be careful =)
